Christine Barnes
Founder & CEO

Christine Barnes is the Founder of Harmonia Finance & Operations LLC, where she provides fractional CFO and executive-level financial and operational leadership to founder-run, multi-entity, and family-owned businesses. With more than 12 years of experience across finance, accounting, and operations, Christine partners closely with business owners to bring structure, clarity, and strategic execution to complex organizations.

Prior to founding Harmonia, Christine served as Chief Financial Officer at a family-owned, multi-entity, vertically integrated enterprise that stretched from the agriculture industry to national CPG brand. In this role, she oversaw all financial and some operational aspects of the organization and played a central role in guiding the company through financial and entity restructuring, revenue growth, and industry expansion. Her leadership supported consistent improvements in profitability through disciplined budgeting, cost control, and operational oversight. Christine also led technology integration initiatives that enhanced financial visibility and operational efficiency, while implementing risk management frameworks to support regulatory compliance and long-term stability.

Christine’s background spans both strategic leadership and hands-on execution. Earlier in her career, she held roles as an accountant and payroll manager at a nationwide appraisal company during its expansion into multi-family housing development, where she developed deep expertise in financial planning, analysis, and risk management. She later worked as a staff accountant at a local CPA firm, preparing and reviewing tax returns, financial statements, and payroll reports for a diverse client base. Her experience also includes work within the trucking industry and two years in a local insurance agency, providing her with practical insight into operational risk, insurance coverage, and industry-specific financial needs.

Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master of Business Administration from Missouri State University. She is known for her ability to integrate financial strategy with day-to-day operations, serving as a trusted executive partner to founders navigating growth, complexity, and change.
